PATTERN Training School

The training school is targeted primarily at early-stage researchers in the areas of microwave photonics and integrated photonics, and is organized in the framework of the EU PATTERN project. Over the course of two and a half days, attendees will receive training in the set-up and characterization of several key components and sub-systems in microwave photonics, including high-speed thin-film lithium niobate modulators, mm-wave optoelectronic oscillators, and radio-over-fibre transceivers. This will include access to state-of-the-art facilities such as vector network analyzers, high resolution optical spectrum analyzers and an anechoic chamber.
Registration is
- Free of charge for participants from PATTERN projects
- 100 euros for Ph.D. students (that are not affiliated with PATTERN)
- 250 euros for all others.
